Blue Bird Carpet & Janitorial was founded on 10 April 1978 and has been family owned and operated ever since, now in its third generation. The business has run continuously for 48 years, which in a city like Las Vegas means it has cleaned floors through decades of new construction, new subdivisions, and homes that did not exist when the company started. What has not changed is the shape of the work: two books, floor care and janitorial, kept under one name.
Two books, one roof
Running two books at once changes what a customer gets
Most carpet cleaners in the valley only do one side of this work. Blue Bird runs both: floor care, which covers carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, marble polishing, oriental rug cleaning, carpet repair, and upholstery cleaned by the piece, and commercial janitorial, which covers doctors' offices, clubs, offices, storefronts and restaurants, along with trash collection and restroom and kitchen sanitising. A customer who needs both does not need two companies, and booking from both books takes 15% off the job. Residential house cleaning, including move-in and move-out cleans, sits between the two and is often booked onto the same visit as a carpet job.
The pricing has not changed shape either: an in-house estimate, done in person and free of charge, followed by the full price for the job quoted up front, whether it is a whole floor or a single spot. On the janitorial side that promise is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. On the floor care side it means no hidden fees added after the work is done.

Where we work
Blue Bird works out of 3711 Vegas Drive in Las Vegas, NV, and covers the greater Las Vegas region: North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Summerlin and Mountain's Edge. There is no staffed storefront schedule. The office serves customers round the clock, by appointment, which is also what makes the after-hours side of the janitorial book possible.
